    CORYELL COUNTY

Abbott, C. C. -- Theft of cattle.  Age 45 years, height 6 feet, weight 185 pounds, color white, complexion red eyes blue, hair light or sandy, occupation farmer. Indicted 1887.

Bevel, A. -- Theft of cattle.  Indicted 1878.

Beaty, -- Forgery. Height 5 feet 8 inches, color white, complexion dark, occupation laborer.  Indicted 1897.

Burrows, Tom. -- Seduction.  Indicted 1894.

Bean, Will. -- Burglary. Age 19 years, height 5 feet 9 or 11 inches, weight 165 or 175 pounds, color white, eyes dark blue, hair dark, occupation farmer or stockman. Dresses well and has fair education; understands the sheep business; has heavy, dark eye brows and lashes, and has dark or black-pointed moles on side of face and neck;  think he will be apt to stop at or near a small town. Indicted 1899.

Cartwright, -- Theft of mare.  Indicted 1879.

Cole, W.C. -- Unlawful disposing of mortgaged property.  Indicted 1887.

Clemons, Wiley -- Theft of horse.  Indicted 1894.

Cox, James -- Assault to murder. Indicted 1877.

Dean, Frank. -- Murder.  Age 28 years, height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 150 pounds, color white, complexion light, eyes blue, hair light, occupation farmer.  Indicted 1894, for the murder of Ed Cash.

Elliott, Jacob. -- Theft of cattle. Indicted 1878.

Edwards, Deckard. -- Murder. Age 30 years, height 6 feet, weight 165 pounds, color white, complexion dark, eyes blue, hair curly and black, occupation farmer.  Indicted 1894 for the murder of Ed Cash.

Edwards, Chunch -- Murder. Age 25 years, height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 145 pounds, complexion dark, eyes blue, hair black and curly, occupation farmer.  Indicted 1894, for the murder of Ed. Cash.

Franklin, J.R. -- Murder. Age 55 years, height 5 feet 10 inches, weight 165 pounds, color white, complexion light, eyes blue, hair black, occupation farmer.  Indicted 1894, for the murder of Ed. Cash.

George, Earnest. -- Theft of horse. Indicted 1895.

Gray, Jim. -- Assault to murder. Indicted 1895.

Heberlin, Sam. -- Murder.  Indicted 1876.

Hillis, William J. -- Murder. Indicted in 1879.

Holt, Jim. -- Murder.  Indicted in 1894, for the murder of Ed. Cash.

Jones, James -- Theft of horse.  Indicted in 1879.

Kellum, T .J.  (assumed). -- Theft of horse and swindling. Two cases. Is a music and school teacher. Indicted in 1892.

King, Willis -- Murder.  Age 29 years, height 5 feet 9 or 10 inches, weight 135 pounds, color white, complexion light, eyes deep blue, hair very light. Broke jail here in 1895. Under life sentence. Wears hair combed down over forhead [sic] and his hat pulled well down in front and a little to one side. Mustache and eyebrows nearly white. Talks but little, and has coarse voice.  Will seek the company of lewd women of any race. Dresses common, except is apt to wear a fine shoe, number 7.

Lee, W. B. -- Theft of horse.  When last heard of was in Missouri. Indicted in 1886.

Leslie, J. M. -- Swindling.  Age 31 year, height 5 feet 10 inches, weight 150 pounds, color white, complexion dark, eyes dark, hair dark, occupation drummer. Indicted in 1895.

Matthews, M.C. -- Theft of horse and saddle (two cases). -- Indicted in 1887.

Mars, Brock. -- Murder. Age 28, height 6 feet, weight 165 pounds, color white, complexion dark, eyes blue, hair dark, occupation farmer.  Indicted in 1894 for the murder of Ed. Cash.

McCutcheon, John D. -- Theft of cattle.  Indicted in 1883.

McCutcheon, Mat. -- Theft of cattle. Indicted in 1883.

Nations, J.C. -- Fraudulently disposing of mortgaged property. Indicted in 1897.

Pope, Henry -- Assault to murder.  Indicted in 1877.

Price, Jim -- Theft of cattle. Age 29 years, height 5 feet 10 inches, weight 160 pounds, color white, complexion fair, eyes blue, hair light, occupation farmer. Indicted in 1894.

Vining, Ed. -- Burglary. Age 18 or 20 years, height 5 feet 4 or 5 inches, weight 125 pounds, color white, complexion light, eyes blue, hair light. Has worked in bakery, and will be found in town or city. Broke jail here in November 1898. Served term in Reformatory from Bell county.

Weathers, Jobez. -- Theft of cattle.  Indicted in 1878.

Johnson, Bob J. -- Murder. Age 46, height 6 feet, weight 150 pounds, color white, complexion light, eyes blue, hair black, occupation farmer. Is a member of the Christian or Campbelite Church, and is said to have sometimes exhorted or preached. Is what is called an “old time good fiddler.”  Mustache brown or sandy. He was indicted in 1894, for the murder of Ed. Cash.

I will pay $100 as a reward for the delivery to me of any of the above named in any jail in Texas. For those charged with murder, I would suggest correspondence, as I may be able to secure a larger reward for some of them. The assistance of every officer in Texas is earnestly solicited.
